Dr. Ortega joined SCC Huntsville in 2016. She said she became interested in biosciences and medicine while growing up in Mexico City and believes her work fuels her passion to help others. Dr. Ortega is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and the Madison County Medical Society, and is bilingual in Spanish and English.
